Awake While Sleeping ã

  Each work of art by the poet, preacher, painter D. F. Dixon has a message to challenge the mind and stir your soul! These paintings are now being used in many ways. They are in books to study and ponder. The art can be seen on coffee mugs, Murals, T-shirts, written on CD's, in photo albums, canvas, plywood along with sculpture art for all to enjoy. These works of art are in schools, churches, homes, upon fences, buildings, and so on. Pathway artwork and writings have been written about in newspapers and reviewed on television. Various Tour Groups have toured the Pathway along with Artist, Poets, Preachers, Teachers and Citizens from in and out-of-state. Art was not Dixon's primary plan, but now that he has started, there's no turning back! The Poets Pathway is one of the sites with the Olde English Tourism District in S. C. and is on the National Register. More will be learned concerning this Folk Art center as you move along. Thanks for taking the time to view this labor of love.
